Salary: $110,000–$150,000 CAD

hirify.global is the largest independent developer in Texas, based out of Austin, with a growing presence in Toronto, Canada, known for co-developing AAA FPS games and creating compelling new games.

What you will do

• Oversee key components of a AAA project.
• Deliver high-quality games on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with department leads to build a high-functioning team.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with external partners.
• Motivate and maintain creativity and cohesion within the team.
• Maintain long-term project plans and foster daily team practices.
• Facilitate team communication and disseminate information effectively.
• Communicate project development status to senior management and the business team.
• Coordinate with the Quality Assurance department for product testing cycles.

Requirements

• At least eight years of project management experience in game development.
• Shipped two to three AAA titles in a Senior Producer or Lead Producer role.
• Experience building high-functioning, quality-driven teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, multi-tasking, and scheduling skills.
• Strong time management skills with ability to multitask, assess risk, define priorities, and resolve problems.
• Deep knowledge of game development including team dynamics, hurdles, engines, and milestones.
• Strong working knowledge of JIRA and MS Office.
• Motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Nice to have

• Experience with Unreal Engine development.
• Experience managing development of top-tier, story-driven games.
• Familiarity with Agile and other traditional project management methodologies.
• Hands-on development experience in any development area (art, design, programming, QA).
