A fast-growing UK tech company building an operational platform is looking for a Senior System/Data Analyst to own and automate critical payment and financial workflows.
🎯 Role highlights:
- Own the full payment lifecycle automation: client payments, contractor settlements, reconciliation
- Build financial controls & dashboards that validate every transaction down to the cent
- Analyze & optimize complex payment algorithms, identify edge cases
- Work hands-on with backend systems, read code, validate production logic
- Bridge financial operations and engineering teams
💼 Core projects:
- Payment reconciliation and balance settlement systems
- Financial control mechanisms and audit-ready reporting
- Overdue payment handling and recovery strategies
- Contractor invoice control and settlement automation
🧩 Requirements:
- Experience with financial operations and payment systems
- Strong data analysis: SQL, Python, BigQuery
- Comfortable reading and understanding backend code
- Obsessed with accuracy and attention to detail
- Proactive, autonomous, thrive in ambiguity
- English - Intermediate+
