What you will do

• Optimize CI/CD pipelines to keep build times fast and deployments reliable.
• Build and maintain internal developer tools that accelerate common workflows.
• Reduce time-to-productivity for new engineers by improving onboarding and documentation.
• Establish and promote engineering best practices through tooling.
• Measure developer workflows and use data to prioritize high-impact improvements.
• Partner across teams to understand pain points and roll out improvements.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience, with meaningful time spent on developer tooling, platform engineering, CI/CD, or internal tools.
• Experience developing with Python, Django, and React.
• Hands-on experience improving CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Strong communication skills.
• Located in San Francisco and open to working in office, 4 days per week.

• You've built developer portals, self-service platforms, or internal CLIs.
• You've reduced build times, flaky test rates, or deployment failures by significant margins.
• You've led or contributed to engineering onboarding programs.
• You've worked in high-growth environments (50→200+ engineers).
