What you will do
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines to keep build times fast and deployments reliable.
- Build and maintain internal developer tools that accelerate common workflows.
- Reduce time-to-productivity for new engineers by improving onboarding and documentation.
- Establish and promote engineering best practices through tooling.
- Measure developer workflows and use data to prioritize high-impact improvements.
- Partner across teams to understand pain points and roll out improvements.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering experience, with meaningful time spent on developer tooling, platform engineering, CI/CD, or internal tools.
- Experience developing with Python, Django, and React.
- Hands-on experience improving CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD).
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Strong communication skills.
- Located in San Francisco and open to working in office, 4 days per week.

- You've reduced build times, flaky test rates, or deployment failures by significant margins.
- You've led or contributed to engineering onboarding programs.
- You've worked in high-growth environments (50→200+ engineers).
