Location: Remote from Bulgaria, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Poland, Serbia, India, Romania, Cyprus, Latvia, Armenia or onsite in Almaty, Astana, Belgrade, Bengaluru, Cluj-Napoca, Krakow, Larnaca, Lodz, Lublin, Riga, Sofia, Tbilisi, Varna, Warsaw, Wroclaw, Yerevan. This role requires participating in an out-of-hours on-call rotation approximately once every 4–5 weeks (covering the full work week and weekend).

What you will do
- Manage business-critical incidents, ensuring timely resolution and service restoration.
- Investigate incidents and defects, identify root causes, and implement durable fixes.
- Adopt ITIL best practices and maintain effective support processes.
- Provide technical support and guidance to users, collaborating with IT teams and vendors.
- Participate in shift-based (8 AM – 6 PM UK time) and out-of-hours on-call support rotas.
- Proactively enhance support capabilities through automation, monitoring, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Recent experience with InterSystems Caché and ObjectScript (coding and debugging).
- Familiarity with SQL for investigation and reporting.
- Experience with software transition, release management, QA/UAT support, and disaster-recovery planning.
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation.
- Good spoken English (B2 required).
- End-to-end support experience, including incident and problem management.
Nice to have
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical qualification.
- IMC or similar certifications in investment management.
- Experience in investment management firms.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ITSM/ticketing tools.
