What you will do

• Lead and manage the Augmentation & Modelling squad.
• Develop cloud-based scripts and pipelines using SQL, PySpark & Notebooks.
• Lead statistical modelling activities, including regression, forecasting, and time-series analysis.
• Work closely with stakeholders to define, prioritise and manage insights requirements.
• Create impactful data visuals and insights using Power BI or similar tools.
• Provide clear growth and development trajectories to direct reports and plan/manage features and the backlog.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of applied experience with data analytics and/or data science.
• A strong background in developing applied statistical modelling and/or machine learning.
• Advanced coding capabilities in SQL, Python, PySpark and Notebooks.
• Experience working with cloud computing in Azure or similar platforms.
• Capable of working collaboratively with Git and DevOps.
• Impeccable communication skills in English – to technical and non-technical audiences alike.
• Exemplary and demonstrable people and project management experience.

Nice to have

• Experienced working according to agile project/product management.
• Domain expertise in fields related to environmental science/governance/management.
