What you will do

• Support the exploitation of data on critical customer platforms.
• Mentor Data Science & AI professionals, helping to improve team abilities.
• Coordinate the development and implementation of custom data models, intelligent algorithms, and AI solutions.
• Pursue new opportunities to utilise data science/machine learning for improved outcomes.
• Champion and share knowledge on emerging trends in machine learning and artificial intelligence.

Requirements

• Strong programming/scripting skills with Python and Scala/Java.
• Understanding of data analysis, including graphs, networks, time-series modelling, numerical algorithms, and geospatial analytics.
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques and frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
• Basic DevOps and system-level Linux skills (ssh, shell scripting, cron, package management, version control).
• Experience with cyber analytics, including detecting threats in network data.
• Must be eligible to obtain DV Security Clearance, requiring 10+ years of UK residency.
• Onsite work 5 days per week in Manchester, Ipswich, or Cheltenham.
