Focus on operationalizing advanced ML models, improving forecasting accuracy, and delivering intuitive data-driven tools for trading and sourcing teams.

Location: Hybrid in Rotterdam, Netherlands. You will work 40% at the office, 40% from home, and 20% flexibly. Occasional work abroad (within approved countries) is permitted up to 3 weeks/year, maximum 2 consecutively, with manager approval.

Salary: €90.000–€110.000 gross annual

What you will do

• Define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for forecasting, analytics, and decision-support capabilities.
• Collaborate with sourcing specialists and portfolio managers to translate needs into valuable product improvements.
• Work with data scientists and engineers to operationalize advanced ML forecasting models into reliable tools.
• Improve forecasting accuracy and transparency across commodity value streams.
• Champion data quality, monitoring, and experiment-driven development for stable platforms.
• Prioritise outcomes using quantitative metrics and ensure alignment with strategic business goals.

Requirements

• 3–5 years in product management, ideally in data, analytics, trading, forecasting, or quantitative digital environments.
• Deep curiosity for AI/ML tools, data platforms, and analytical workflows.
• Comfortable working alongside engineers, data scientists, and analysts, understanding architecture and data flows.
• Strong grasp of complex quantitative or ML-driven concepts, able to distill them for diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to collaborate across functions and build alignment.
• Grounded in agile principles and a data-driven mindset.
• English required, Dutch is a plus.
