VP, Product (AI, Hardware): Own and grow core products across Flock’s portfolio, spanning software, AI-driven capabilities, and hardware-enabled systems with an accent on product strategy, execution, and external representation. Focus on ensuring highly visible, mission-critical products evolve, scale, and differentiate in new markets and use cases, and establishing strong cross-functional partnerships.

Location: Remote (USA). Candidates are preferred in key hubs (Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, New York City, and San Francisco), but remote applications from across the United States are welcome.

Salary: $280,000–$300,000

What you will do

• Own end-to-end product strategy and execution for a complex product portfolio (hardware, firmware, cloud software).
• Drive continued growth and differentiation of core products in various markets.
• Lead and develop Product Managers for key portfolio components.
• Partner with Engineering to align product direction with technical architecture and delivery.
• Translate customer, market, and competitive signals into clear product priorities.
• Represent the product externally, explaining its functionality and guiding principles.

Requirements

• Proven experience owning and growing complex, technology-driven products in markets requiring trust and reliability.
• Strong product judgment with effective prioritization skills amidst competing demands.
• Commercial and customer intuition to connect product decisions to market outcomes.
• Comfort operating across the full stack, including software, AI-enabled systems, and hardware-adjacent products.
• Ability to partner deeply with Engineering on technical tradeoffs and platform decisions.
• Clear executive communication skills, surfacing risks, trends, and opportunities early.
