AI Engineer (LLM): Building and scaling the AI and intelligence layer on top of hirify.global's internal data platforms, combining machine learning models, LLMs, and agentic systems to transform raw data into actionable intelligence and automation. Focus on architecting, building, and operating LLM-powered systems in production, owning prompting and reasoning systems at scale, and defining evaluation frameworks to ensure quality and reliability of AI/ML outputs.

Location: Remote, must reside in Mexico

What you will do

• Partner with Data Engineering to leverage and enrich internal datasets using ML, LLMs, and external data sources.
• Build, deploy, and iterate on scoring, ranking, classification, and anomaly-detection models across structured and unstructured data.
• Architect, build, and operate LLM-powered systems and AI agents in production, including RAG, embeddings, and vector databases.
• Define and implement evaluation frameworks to measure accuracy, robustness, and business value of AI/ML outputs.
• Design and own end-to-end AI workflows integrated with internal platforms.
• Proactively identify and implement high-leverage opportunities where AI and automation can replace or augment manual processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software, data, or AI/ML engineering.
• Full-stack experience with React, Next.js, and Node.js.
• Proven experience deploying LLMs and ML models in production environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with agentic workflows, LLM-based systems, RAG architectures, embeddings, vector databases, and applied machine learning models.
• Solid data engineering fundamentals, including APIs, SQL/NoSQL, and unstructured data.
• Ability to design AI/ML systems that are observable, testable, and maintainable.
• Residence in Mexico is required.

• Experience in venture capital, fintech, or analytics-heavy environments.
