Senior Data Scientist (AI)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy GenAI-powered internal applications, copilots, and workflow accelerators.
• Build reusable retrieval pipelines, structured prompting patterns, orchestration workflows, evaluation harnesses, datasets, and feature pipelines.
• Connect LLMs to trusted internal knowledge sources through grounded retrieval strategies.
• Develop and maintain statistical and machine learning models for automation, optimization, forecasting, and classification.
• Partner cross-functionally to identify AI enablement opportunities and document methodologies, assumptions, and implementation details.
• Uphold quality, reliability, reproducibility, peer review, and responsible AI standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in data science, machine learning, or AI-focused roles.
• Hands-on experience building and shipping LLM-powered applications, internal platforms, or automation solutions.
• Strong Python or R skills, including data preparation, feature engineering, statistical modeling, and machine learning.
• Knowledge of probability, statistical inference, experimentation, supervised and unsupervised learning, and quantitative reasoning.
• Strong SQL and relational database fluency, with experience using data science libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.
• Quantitative academic background in statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, economics, or a related discipline; GitHub and collaborative development experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with vector databases, embedding models, or semantic retrieval systems.
• Experience designing internal AI platforms or shared enablement frameworks.
• Familiarity with API-driven architectures and frameworks such as Streamlit, Gradio, or FastAPI.
• Exposure to responsible AI governance or model lifecycle management.
