What you will do

• Own major feature development and work directly with founders on end-to-end product development.
• Collaborate with a small interdisciplinary team on hardware, software, and design to build new product versions from scratch.
• Build new features and design new architecture to solve challenging problems.
• Develop backend infrastructure for scalable training in the cloud.
• Rethink and recreate existing codebases for scale.
• Continuously improve and maintain existing production code.

Requirements

• 3+ years relevant coding experience.
• B.S. or higher in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience).
• Excellent knowledge of one or more languages: Python, Node.js, C++, Go, C#, Java.
• Comfortable learning new languages, libraries, and frameworks.
• Experience building production-ready code used by many people.

Nice to have

• Experience in a fast-paced work environment, shipping quality code quickly and iterating.
• Comfortable with deploying and managing cloud infrastructure.
• Good knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
• Strong proficiency with SQL and other database technologies.
