What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and ship high-quality technical solutions that scale across multiple hirify.global services.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and code reviews to foster team growth.
• Own and advocate for the health and quality of built systems, including on-call rotations and incident response.
• Design and implement APIs to facilitate seamless integration between software components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to lead technical solution discussions.
• Drive and support the technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with product goals and adoption of new technologies.

Requirements

• 9+ years of experience in software engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience maintaining and delivering production software coding in languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, Rust, or Python.
• Hands-on expertise in building and optimizing **large-scale distributed systems**, including tuning high-throughput services.
• Ability to dig into technical details, improve resilience, and support smooth operation across services.
• Proficiency in applying debugging tools and telemetry to verify assumptions, proactively resolve issues, and optimize code.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools to set up automated pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.

Nice to have

• Experience in one or more scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
• Familiarity with specific technologies like Go, Ruby, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, MySQL, CosmosDB, or Elasticsearch.
• Experience with cloud environments and/or Cloud Native Compute Foundation (CNCF) concepts.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture.
