Salary: $157,000–$235,000 annually (for Zone A: CA, WA, NYC).

What you will do

• Design, implement, and operate highly reliable, scalable backend and infrastructure services for monetization and ads.
• Build and evolve infrastructure for and applications of AI agents to improve ads performance and monetization.
• Develop core backend components, including APIs, data pipelines, and service orchestration layers.
• Collaborate with product and other engineering teams to deliver robust solutions for revenue products.
• Own medium-sized features end-to-end, from design through implementation and operations.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code, debug complex production issues, and participate in on-call rotations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent practical work experience.
• 2+ years of post-Bachelor’s software development experience, or Master’s degree + 1+ year, or PhD in a relevant technical field.
• Experience with backend services or distributed systems.
• Proficiency in C++, including writing production-quality, maintainable code.
• Ability to independently execute on medium-sized features over several weeks.
• Understanding of operational aspects of systems and willingness to participate in incident resolution.

Nice to have

• Experience in cross-platform development with C++.
• Experience with Java and Python.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Google, or AWS services.
• Ad delivery or general ads domain experience.
