Salary: $70,000–$145,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Design and build core backend systems using Python and modern frameworks
• Develop APIs, services, and infrastructure handling real-time, business-critical accounting logic
• Launch production-ready features including CI/CD and deployment
• Manage complex finance workflows and scale systems securely
• Integrate third-party tools and manage risk proactively
• Collaborate closely with founders, product, and frontend teams to co-design and ship systems

Requirements

• Must be fluent in English (C1+)
• 5+ years of backend engineering experience with complex business-logic products
• Proficient in Python, FastAPI, Flask, Django
• Strong AWS or similar cloud experience
• Excellent database skills including PostgreSQL, SQL, ORMs, migrations
• Experience with CI/CD and production readiness
