Location: Must be based in San Mateo, CA, United States. Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday.

Salary: $399,420—$457,970 USD

What you will do

• Own the technical direction and delivery of Studio’s AI-Native IDE strategy.
• Build and scale agentic AI systems (planning, execution, validation, evaluation) that are production-grade and reliable.
• Set and uphold the engineering quality bar for AI systems inside Studio.
• Lead senior engineers and managers across multiple teams.
• Drive alignment and execution across Studio, Creator, Foundation AI, Safety, and Infrastructure.
• Partner with executive leadership to translate long-term AI strategy into durable roadmaps.

Requirements

• 15+ years of engineering experience, including ownership of large-scale, long-lived platforms.
• Proven leadership through major platform or architectural transitions.
• Deep experience building LLM-powered and agentic systems beyond chat-based interfaces.
• Strong background in developer tools or IDE-like platforms.
• Track record of delivering reliable systems in complex production environments.
• Ability to operate effectively at both deep technical and executive levels.
