What you will do

• Define standards, frameworks, and readiness criteria for production-ready software, including measurable gates for quality, security, performance, and resilience.
• Partner with observability and reliability teams to ensure continuous validation of system health before and after release.
• Continuously evolve readiness frameworks based on production learnings, customer impact, and emerging industry practices.
• Drive the adoption of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, canary/blue-green deployments, and progressive delivery strategies.
• Champion “shift-left” quality practices and deliver platforms/tooling for frictionless developer excellence.
• Collaborate with Product, Platform, and SRE leaders, provide executive-level visibility into delivery readiness, and advocate for cultural transformation.

Requirements

• At least 12 years of professional software engineering experience delivering production systems at scale.
• Deep expertise in modern software delivery practices, including CI/CD architecture, automated testing strategies, and release safety patterns.
• Experience with hirify.global platform technologies (Apex, LWC, Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, REST APIs).
• Proficiency with Heroku and its ecosystem (Heroku Connect, NGINX, Redis) and Docker.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, Web Services, and Object-Oriented Programming.
• A related technical degree required.

Nice to have

• Experience with code reusability, scalable solutions, and design patterns.
• Experience with Agile software development and test-driven development.
• Ability to lead projects and mentor developers in best practices.
• Experience troubleshooting full-service stack, end-to-end ownership, and working on high-traffic customer-facing applications.
• Good knowledge of automation testing frameworks and hirify.global certifications.
• Experience with software-as-a-service and platform-as-a-service architectures.
