Project Manager, Recruiting Operations (AI): Driving high-impact programs to improve recruiting planning, delivery, and scalability for an AI research and deployment company with an accent on translating strategy into clear plans and managing cross-functional initiatives. Focus on building operating rhythms, leading process improvements, and leveraging data to guide decisions for a world-class candidate and hiring team experience.

Location: San Francisco. Position is for US-based candidates.

Salary: $190,000–$240,000 + Offers Equity

What you will do

  • Own delivery end-to-end, managing scope, risks, dependencies, and timelines across concurrent initiatives.
  • Operationalize recruiting strategy by translating Lead priorities into roadmaps, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
  • Build lightweight cadences and visibility mechanisms (e.g., weekly updates, planning cycles, decision logs).
  • Lead process and change efforts, including mapping workflows, designing improvements, documenting SOPs, and driving adoption.
  • Deliver tooling and systems improvements, including requirements gathering, UAT, rollout, and measurement.
  • Use data to define KPIs, prioritize, measure impact, and continuously improve processes.
  • Align cross-functional partners across Recruiting, RecOps, People Tech/Talent Systems, Finance, and Legal/Procurement to unblock work.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in project/program management, operations, or business operations (People/Talent/HR ops experience strongly preferred).
  • Proven success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Strong ability to transform ambiguity into clear plans, milestones, and decisions.
  • Experience building operating rhythms and program infrastructure (e.g., workback plans, RAID logs, planning cadences).
  • Comfort working with data to inform prioritization and measure impact.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
