Release Coordinator

Location: Based in San Francisco, California. Employer offers optional hybrid work from home within commuting distance to the office; employees are expected to come into the office 3-days a week.

Salary: $164,715 to $177,000 per year, plus a competitive equity package.

What you will do

• Play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful planning, coordination, and execution of software releases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product engineering, quality, and platform engineering.
• Own the release management lifecycle, which includes scheduling, coordinating and managing releases across the organization.
• Own, maintain, and report on release content and artifacts via release plans and release retrospectives.
• Work closely with the engineering teams to continuously improve the release process.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5 years of progressive experience in DevOps or Software Release.
• 5 years of experience in Release Management.
• 3 years of experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• 2 years of experience with Program or Project Management.
• 2 years of experience with Version Control and CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment).
