TL;DR

Technical Program Manager, Reliability Engineering (AI): Owns and evolves hirify.global's incident management program, responsible for how incidents are detected, responded to, and learned from. Focus on building processes, tooling coherence, and standards that ensure reliable operation at scale.

Location: San Francisco, CA or Seattle, WA. Expected to be in one of the offices at least 25% of the time.

Salary: $290,000 - $365,000 USD

What you will do

  • Own the end-to-end incident management program, including response processes, escalation paths, communication standards, and remediation tracking.
  • Establish and run incident commander rotations, ensuring clear ownership and effective coordination during incidents of varying severity.
  • Drive followup accountability by defining how action items are captured, tracked, and completed across teams.
  • Partner with engineering teams to improve incident tooling coherence and adoption.
  • Lead incident review forums and ensure learnings are captured and acted upon.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure and platform teams on reliability improvements driven by incident patterns.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in technical program management, incident management, or site reliability engineering.
  • Experience leading incident response programs at a technology company, ideally in a high-growth or infrastructure-intensive environment.
  • Comfortable participating in on-call responsibilities and leading incident response during high-severity events.
  • Experience building and scaling operational processes from the ground up.
  • Excel at driving accountability and followthrough across multiple teams without direct authority.
  • Education requirements: At least a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
