TL;DR

Enterprise Systems Architect (Enterprise Technology): Designing and evolving the internal technology landscape to support a rapidly scaling, distributed organization with an accent on architecting secure, scalable, and well-integrated enterprise systems including IAM, device ecosystems, and core business applications. Focus on driving standardization across Maven’s internal platforms, improving operational efficiency, and strengthening the security posture.

Location: Hybrid work model, exclusively open to candidates with active US work authorization in hub cities: New York, NY; San Francisco/Bay Area, CA; Seattle, WA; Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; and Washington, D.C. For New York, in-person collaboration is required three days a week. For other hub cities, quarterly Work Together Days are encouraged.

Salary: $170,000–$200,000 per year

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end architecture for Maven’s enterprise systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and robust security.
• Partner with the Security team to design and maintain strong IAM, device compliance, and access governance architectures.
• Develop technical standards, reference architectures, and design patterns for internal tools and integrations.
• Evaluate new enterprise technologies, conduct technical assessments, and recommend solutions aligned with long-term infrastructure goals.
• Architect and oversee reliable data integrations between SaaS applications, internal systems, and data platforms.
• Lead deep-dive analyses to identify system inefficiencies and propose scalable solutions to eliminate technical debt.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of experience in enterprise systems engineering, architecture, or infrastructure roles within SaaS, technology, or high-growth environments.
• Expertise across IAM, MDM/endpoint management, SaaS ecosystems, collaboration tools, and enterprise integrations.
• Experience with platforms like Okta, Salesforce, Netsuite, ADP, Greenhouse, Zendesk, and Atlassian.
• Strong architecture fundamentals, including system design, data flows, API integrations, and security controls.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions in cloud-native environments.
• Proficiency with modern automation technologies and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., SOC2, HIPAA, HITRUST).
