Python Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid (San Francisco, CA). Individuals are expected to work from the office 3 days a week. A relocation stipend may be available for those willing to relocate to a hirify.global hub location in the US (e.g., San Francisco, CA, Denver, CO, Nashville, TN) or Chile (Santiago).

Salary: $150,000–$176,000 USD (Base Salary for San Francisco, CA)

What you will do

• Solve problems and deliver high-quality solutions with high ownership.
• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to define and ship impactful features.
• Partner with engineering, product, and design in designing and architecting new features.
• Experiment with a data-driven approach to validate customer needs and deploy new product features.
• Deliver performant, reliable, scalable, and secure code.
• Monitor, investigate, triage, and resolve production issues for services owned by the team.

Requirements

• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent education/training).
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• A strong sense of ownership from feature design through production release.
