Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $190,000 - $240,000 USD (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) / $169,000 - $219,000 USD (all other U.S. states)

What you will do

• Drive planning and prioritization of projects based on product, technical, and business goals.
• Collaborate with Experience, Accounting, Product, and Analytics teams to execute money movement strategy for the Debit card.
• Build APIs and data models within microservice and event-driven architectures.
• Take an active role in mentoring junior engineers and supporting team growth and efficiency.
• Work with the Product team to extend core money movement systems.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and how architectural decisions affect performance and maintainability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficient in asynchronous modes of communication.
• Excellent project management skills with a high degree of organization.
• Work authorization for the US required.

Nice to have

• Python/Kotlin development experience.
• Experience with AWS and/or other cloud providers.
• Exposure to ACH, accounting/auditing systems, or card networks.
