Salary: $217,000 - $255,000 USD (Base pay for Bellevue, WA)

What you will do

• Own the technical vision and execution for mission-critical trading experiences, including the app’s front page.
• Design, build, and operate core services for Portfolio, Watchlists, and Stock Detail pages, delivering real-time data and personalized content at scale.
• Design and evolve high-performance, low-latency systems supporting real-time trading and market data for millions of users.
• Remain hands-on, writing production code, leading complex implementations, and setting engineering quality standards.
• Lead the integration of AI-driven capabilities into core trading, portfolio, and discovery workflows.
• Drive technical excellence across reliability, correctness, observability, and security in a highly regulated environment.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience building and operating large-scale, distributed systems in production environments.
• Expertise in backend development using Go, Python, or Java, with deep knowledge of cloud-native architectures.
• 3+ years leading large-scale technical initiatives, with ownership spanning multiple teams or complex systems.
• Strong grasp of system design, data modeling, and software engineering fundamentals.
• Proven ability to simplify complex problems, make sound tradeoffs, and drive alignment across diverse stakeholders.
• Strong ownership mindset with a track record of delivering high-impact, end-to-end product outcomes.
