Salary: $123,000–$145,000 USD (base pay for Menlo Park, CA; New York, NY)

What you will do

• Scale and oversee a compliance program supporting hirify.global’s banking products, including money transmitter compliance and consumer protection.
• Lead regulatory, partner, and internal audits related to banking products, including preparation, response coordination, and remediation.
• Partner closely with product and engineering teams to integrate compliance requirements early in development.
• Own, maintain, and continuously improve banking compliance policies, procedures, and controls.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in financial services compliance, with deep experience in banking and fintech environments.
• Hands-on experience working with bank partners and engaging with state and federal regulatory agencies.
• Strong knowledge of applicable regulatory frameworks, including UDAAP, EFTA, TISA, and money transmission laws.
• Demonstrated ability to design and scale compliance programs for consumer financial products in a high-growth environment.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, apply sound judgment, and communicate clearly on complex regulatory and product issues.
