Location: Hybrid in Redmond, United States. Employees within a 50-mile commute of a designated Microsoft office in the U.S. or 25-mile commute of a non-U.S. location are expected to work from the office at least four days per week.

Salary: USD $100,600 – $215,400 per year

• Design, develop, and deliver innovative and impactful features for the advertising platform.
• Engage in coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting applications.
• Drive long-term architectural improvements for highly scalable services.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality solutions from concept to release.
• Mentor and develop other engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• English: B2 required.
• Strong technical design, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Experience in building scalable, secure, high-performance backend products and services.
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 3+ years experience, OR Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience.
• Knowledge of Distributed systems design.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS or similar cloud computing platforms.
• Experience in online advertising.
