TL;DR

Software Engineer (Data Fulfillment): Developing a scalable platform and services to enable customers to gain insights through a research platform while preserving patient privacy. Focus on designing high-performance, cost-effective data services capable of handling and de-identifying large-scale datasets.

Location: Hybrid (Greater Seattle area, WA, US). Must be authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

Salary: $94,000–$120,000 USD

What you will do

  • Develop a scalable platform and services to enable customer data insights.
  • Design high-performance, cost-effective data services.
  • Handle and de-identify large-scale datasets.
  • Ensure the efficiency and correctness of data services.
  • Contribute to ethical innovation, patient privacy, and security.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience building production quality software in a team setting.
  • 1+ years of experience working on cloud-native platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Experience building cloud services or data programming in Java, Python, or C#.
  • Knowledge and experience in using and designing distributed systems, data pipelines, and APIs.
  • BS. or MS. in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Containers or Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with modern DevOps practices like Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience implementing Web Services.
  • Knowledge of Spark.
  • Prior work with statistics, health data, and privacy.
