Location: This is an office-centric hybrid role based in our San Francisco or New York office, requiring in-person work on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

Salary: $425,000 – $500,000 USD (base salary range)

What you will do

• Lead and scale global Product Design and User Research teams, fostering innovation and design excellence.
• Oversee strategic direction and execution of user research to ensure deep understanding of customer needs.
• Drive the overall vision, strategy, and roadmap for user experience across all hirify.global products and platforms (web and mobile).
• Partner closely with Product Management and Engineering leadership to integrate design and research insights.
• Mentor and develop a team of design directors and research leaders.
• Establish and maintain a high bar for design quality and user experience, continuously evolving processes and tools.

Requirements

• Successful track record of leading large Design and Research organizations to deliver delightful and cohesive user experience at scale.
• 15+ years experience in product design with at least 3 years of experience as a design executive leading organizations of 50+ members.
• Role model of cross-functional collaboration and customer orientation.
• Experience nurturing a work environment that allows everyone to bring their whole selves to work, valuing diversity and inclusion.
• Strong customer advocacy with a penchant for data and a drive to effectively use technology to solve customer problems.
