Salary: $184,500 – $258,000

What you will do

• Lead technical architecture and delivery of AI-driven automated risk decisioning and remediation systems.
• Integrate Generative and Agentic AI workflows to modernize fraud detection and reduce time-to-mitigation.
• Benchmark and deploy diverse AI solutions including vendor-based, open-source, and in-house tools.
• Collaborate with Data Science/ML teams to operationalize features, experiments, and online inference in production.
• Establish SLOs, observability, and safety mechanisms to ensure system reliability, privacy, and compliance.
• Mentor engineering team members and champion the adoption of advanced AI technologies.

Requirements

• 9+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on production-grade ML/AI.
• Demonstrable experience building and debugging LLM and multi-agent applications using frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph.
• Expertise in RAG-based architecture and data orchestration using tools like LlamaIndex and vector databases (e.g., Pinecone).
• Strong proficiency in at least one of Java, Scala, Go, or Python.
• Proven track record of operating distributed cloud-native systems (AWS, GCP, or Azure) at scale.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience in building fraud and risk detection systems.
• Proficiency in graph modeling, entity resolution, or behavioral signal analysis at scale.
• Experience driving platform simplification and reducing manual operational overhead.
