Data Engineer: Designing and implementing data ingestion, streaming, batch processing, and ETL components for a unified digital learning platform with an accent on data warehousing, cloud data platforms, and infrastructure improvement. Focus on ensuring functionality, performance, availability, scalability, and reliability of data solutions within an Agile environment.

Location: Remote from Poland

What you will do

Contribute to the design, code, and documentation for data ingestion, streaming, batch processing, and ETL components.
Own and improve key infrastructure components, identifying gaps and enhancing platform quality.
Ensure solutions meet customer requirements in functionality, performance, availability, scalability, and reliability.
Perform development, QA, and DevOps tasks for end-to-end solution responsibility.

Requirements

2+ years of experience coding in SQL with solid CS fundamentals.
1+ years of experience in cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Knowledge of Data Warehousing, design, implementation, and optimization.
Experience with Databricks and Snowflake.
Experience participating in an Agile (Scrum) software development team.
Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality software on complex, cross-functional projects.

Nice to have

Understanding of cloud infrastructure design and implementation.
Experience with C# or Python.
