Portfolio Data Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Build pipelines to support the ingestion, analysis, and enrichment of financial data.
• Optimize existing ETL pipelines to increase data throughput and accuracy.
• Map general financial concepts to internal data models in collaboration with data analysts.
• Analyze and recommend extensions or changes to data models and schemas.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to design and implement tooling that improves operational efficiency and data quality.

Requirements

• Professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency with Python, Apache Spark/PySpark, and Java/Spring.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Legal authorization to work in Poland is required from the first day of employment.

Nice to have

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of financial concepts such as stocks and bonds.
