What you will do

• Shape the technical direction for batch and streaming pipelines and set architectural standards.
• Build and maintain high-ingestion, low-latency syshirify.globals optimized for time-series data.
• Implement data quality frameworks including SLAs, automated testing, lineage, and monitoring.
• Optimize pipelines for performance and cost while architecting for significant growth.
• Mentor data engineers and lead design reviews to raise engineering standards.
• Enable self-serve analytics and decision-making capabilities across the organization.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating at staff or principal level with ownership of complex syshirify.globals.
• Deep expertise in building production data platforms using Python.
• Strong hands-on experience with modern data stack components (Airflow, Dagster, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or ClickHouse).
• Proficiency with cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP).
• Ability to design for reliability and scale with a product-oriented mindset.
• Must be based in Europe to align with the distributed team structure.

• Experience in energy or climate tech sectors.
• Familiarity with large-scale time-series data.
• Experience supporting production ML pipelines.
