Fullstack Engineer, Membership (React/Node)

What you will do

• Collaborate with Product, Design, Finance, Marketing, SRE, and engineering teams to understand customer problems and deliver scalable solutions.
• Own vertical slices of the Membership roadmap from technical discovery through implementation, release, and production operation.
• Build accessible, responsive web experiences with TypeScript, React, and modern frontend practices.
• Design and implement backend services and APIs with Node.js, Express, data models, and external integrations.
• Develop automated tests, participate in code reviews, and contribute to technical discussions and documentation.
• Monitor, debug, and improve production systems, including releases, observability, reliability, performance, and recurring-work automation.

Requirements

• Typically 4+ years of professional software-development experience delivering production software.
• Strong TypeScript or JavaScript programming skills and solid experience with React or a comparable modern frontend framework.
• Experience building or consuming APIs and working with backend services, ideally Node.js and Express.
• Experience writing automated tests, participating in code reviews, and working with cloud-based systems and production operations, ideally AWS.
• Ability to own problems, make sensible trade-offs, communicate clearly, and collaborate with Product, Design, and partner teams in a distributed environment.
• Comfort using AI coding or productivity tools while verifying their correctness, security, maintainability, and limitations.

Nice to have

• GraphQL, AWS CDK, or infrastructure-as-code experience.
• Experience with payments, subscriptions, billing, tax, or other commerce systems.
• Experience with accessibility, responsive design, frontend performance, and production monitoring at scale.
• Experience with experiments, pricing, packaging, promotions, growth features, or localization.
