Technical Project Manager (Fintech)

Technical Project Manager (Fintech): Overall management and coordination of key projects across different areas of the bank with an accent on identifying and managing dependencies and interfaces between projects. Focus on transitioning project outcomes to business-as-usual processes, monitoring progress, and resolving issues.

Location: Hybrid, must be within commutable distance of a UK office (London, Southampton, Cardiff, or Manchester), requiring a minimum of 1 day per week in the office.

What you will do

• Manage and coordinate key projects across various banking areas.
• Drive projects by identifying and managing dependencies and interfaces between projects and other business initiatives.
• Work with Engineering, Operations, and Banking teams.
• Transition project outcomes to business-as-usual processes.
• Monitor progress, resolve issues, and initiate appropriate corrective action.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication with experience communicating to senior leadership and third parties.
• Experience managing technology projects end-to-end.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage ambiguity.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to solve problems creatively.
• A ‘hands on’ attitude to project delivery.
• Ability to quickly understand new subject matter, with confidence to get up to speed with technical or banking details of a problem.
• Ideally, a good understanding of Financial Crime, Screening, KYC, AML, Sanctions, and Fraud.
• Must be located within commutable distance of a UK office (London, Southampton, Cardiff, or Manchester) and attend the office a minimum of 1 day per week.

Hiring process
