What you will do
- Define and own the long-term product strategy for student-focused learning tools, integrating learning science, adaptive learning, and AI-driven workflows.
- Translate complex educational, technical, and market insights into a clear product vision and roadmap.
- Drive product-market fit by synthesizing customer signals, competitive analysis, and research evidence to identify unmet or emerging student needs.
- Establish success metrics (OKRs, KPIs, learning efficacy measures) and ensure alignment with Microsoft’s broader AI strategy.
- Lead end-to-end product execution —from ideation to launch to iteration—ensuring high standards of quality, security, accessibility, and responsible AI.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, research, marketing, and data teams to deliver cohesive, scalable student experiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
- 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of product management experience, with a strong track record of shipping impactful consumer education technology products.
- Deep understanding of learning science, adaptive learning, and engagement-driven design.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including research, engineering, design, data, and education stakeholders.
- English: B2 required
Nice to have
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 12+ years technical engineering experience OR Bachelor's Degree and 15+ years experience.
- Passion for improving educational outcomes and creating engaging, student-centered learning experiences.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to inform product decisions.
