Salary: €85,000–€100,000 per year + 8% bonus

What you will do

• Lead a tech-savvy team responsible for high-load, real-time systems.
• Influence engineering decisions through expertise, code quality, and clear reasoning.
• Design and improve GraphQL and REST APIs.
• Build and optimize real-time flows using WebSockets.
• Improve performance, throughput, and latency of critical systems.
• Ensure release stability across web and mobile clients.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional JVM backend engineering experience.
• Demonstrated experience helping other software engineers improve their skills.
• Professional experience with functional programming.
• Experience within Event Driven Architecture, Cloud native, and microservices environments.
• Strong experience building and operating backend systems at scale.
• Solid understanding of performance, concurrency, and failure modes.

Nice to have

• Experience as a tech lead.
• Experience with Kotlin or Scala.
