What you will do

• Contribute to the architecture of the billing platform to support rapid customer growth.
• Build reusable, well-defined APIs consumed by product code.
• Monitor billing performance and accuracy.
• Develop automated tools for customer and support self-service billing operations.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers on design and code reviews, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Identify system-wide problems and propose long-term engineering roadmap solutions.
• Mentor new hires.

Requirements

• Bring inquisitiveness to your work and a background with critical stable systems of scale.
• Experience with real-time debugging, outages, and high-performance backend data models.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated experience designing, building, launching, and maintaining 2+ large production backend systems at scale.
• Deep experience with cloud-deployed solutions.
• Strong backend programming experience with Python, Java, C#, Node.js, Ruby, etc.
• Experience designing backends based on microservices architecture.
