Focus on guiding teams in making cost-efficient and secure design choices, championing architectural standards, and mentoring development teams.

Location: Hybrid in Berlin, Germany

What you will do

  • Design and evaluate solution architectures for diverse business services across the product portfolio.
  • Ensure alignment of architectural decisions with global software architecture and technology strategy.
  • Guide teams in making scalable, cost-efficient, and secure design choices.
  • Champion standards by embedding security, architectural patterns, and best practices.
  • Mentor and support development teams on architectural principles and best practices.

Requirements

  • Strong solution architecture experience.
  • Experience across one or more domains: software development, cloud computing, infrastructure, or data & analytics.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including security.
  • Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases and storage systems.
  • Hands-on development background in Node.js, Java, Python, or PHP.
  • Experience with Domain-Driven Design, Microservices, and Event-Driven Architectures.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
  • Must be able to work in a hybrid setup in Berlin, Germany.

  • Previous experience as part of an architecture team.
