What you will do

• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of engineers, fostering accountability, growth, and technical excellence.
• Partner with global product managers to translate business requirements into actionable technical roadmaps.
• Drive team output through hands-on technical contribution and deep code reviews.
• Actively coach and mentor junior and senior engineers to advance their careers.
• Conceive, develop, and deliver novel solutions within a sophisticated financial domain.
• Build within the Navigator application and across hirify.global's product ecosystem, focusing on investor needs.

Requirements

• Extensive professional software engineering experience building web applications.
• Previous formal people management or successful team leadership experience.
• Proven ability to collaborate with and mentor other engineers.
• Strong, hands-on technical approach with a desire to improve team abilities.
• Ability to drive delivery within predefined goal-setting and execution frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in engineering stack: React, Ember frontends with Python, Java backends.
• Exceptional at bridging the gap between technical details and business outcomes.
