What you will do

• Work directly with pilot partners to bring new API functionality to market and ensure successful integration.
• Educate and train internal Axis functions on API offerings to scale partner solutions.
• Evaluate new API functionality and provide external developer feedback to R&D teams.
• Identify gaps in Axis's developer offerings and collaborate with R&D to address them.
• Create content to assist external developers, including blog posts, videos, and demo applications.
• Strategically think about developer support to ensure a broad range of partner success.

Requirements

• Strong technical background as a professional software engineer with hands-on coding experience.
• Proficiency with GraphQL and REST APIs.
• Understanding of video protocols, specifically WebRTC signaling flows, STUN/TURN servers, and RTSP.
• Experience with modern authentication standards, specifically OAuth 2.0 (OpenID Connect) and JWT flows.
• Understanding of edge/hybrid computing trade-offs.
• Ability to read and write code examples in Python, JavaScript, or similar to assist partners.
• University degree in engineering or computer science, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with Axis technology and product portfolio.
• Experience in a market-facing role such as Technical Support Engineer or Sales Engineer.
