What you will do

• Partner with product and engineering teams to manage documentation projects and create public user documentation for observability and automation products.
• Gather technical details by reviewing internal product materials and hands-on testing products.
• Create developer-facing documentation and guides for hirify.global SDKs, APIs, and developer tools.
• Collaborate with the documentation team to maintain documentation standards and contribute to process improvements.
• Participate in a business-hours interrupt-handling rotation to respond to documentation questions and issues.
• Review and provide editorial feedback on documentation written by others to maintain quality and consistency.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience writing developer documentation.
• Experienced in using Markdown, a static-site generator, and Github with a ‘Docs as Code’ approach.
• Comfortable reading and understanding code in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Ruby, Python).
• Familiar with modern infrastructure concepts such as cloud services and containers.
• Publicly available technical writing samples are required.
• Experience writing documentation for complex platforms with multiple interaction methods (UI, APIs, automated workflows).
• Experience using AI tools as part of documentation work.
