What you will do

• Manage editorial content workflow, scheduling, contributor tracking, permissions, contracts, and timely delivery.
• Design and execute marketing campaigns across email and social media to raise the journal’s profile and promote content.
• Manage social media channels, draft posts, schedule content, and engage with followers and contributors.
• Support planning and execution of lectures, symposia, and convenings, including venue logistics, guest lists, and speaker support.
• Collaborate on event and content programming with the commissioning editor and Futures leadership.
• Assist in wider Communications projects and operational support across the Futures team.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in program management, digital content publishing/management, or a writing/editing role.
• Experience in editorial and event operations, including content workflows, contributor engagement, social media, and cross-platform promotion.
• Experience working in a media and events setting, including social media management.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and levels.

• Experience with publications, ideally including a print component.
