What you will do

• Build, maintain, and continuously improve Power BI reports covering P&L, revenue, costs, and liquidity.
• Model, validate, and analyze financial data using SQL and Excel, ensuring accuracy and scalability.
• Support forecasting, budget tracking, variance analysis, and scenario modeling to guide financial planning.
• Run ad-hoc financial analyses on topics such as transactions, pay rates, accruals, VAT, and cash flow.
• Act as the central point of contact for finance-related data questions from accounting and leadership.
• Partner closely with the Finance Manager to support ad-hoc analyses and evolving reporting needs.

Requirements

• Work from anywhere in Europe.
• 5+ years of experience in a finance-focused BI or data analytics role.
• Strong, hands-on skills in SQL, Excel, and Power BI (including data modeling).
• Solid understanding of P&L and balance sheet structures, cost accounting, and liquidity planning.
• Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.
• Highly structured, independent working style with strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Experience in a digital B2C or SaaS business environment.
• Familiarity with accounting systems such as DATEV.
• Experience collaborating with data engineers or helping build scalable reporting infrastructures.
