What you will do

• Architect and develop highly scalable, reliable, and maintainable test automation frameworks for web, API, and backend services.
• Serve as the technical authority on testing methodologies, tools, and best practices, integrating new automated technologies.
• Drive high standards for test code quality, structure, and maintainability, including code reviews.
• Design and execute advanced non-functional tests, including performance and load tests, integrating them into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Partner with development and product teams to integrate testing practices early in the development lifecycle (Shift-Left).
• Expertly debug and analyze complex system failures, identifying root causes in both application code and test infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience in a hands-on SDET, Automation Engineer, or Quality Engineer role.
• Expert proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (Python, Java, C#, Go) for production-level code and automation frameworks.
• Proven experience designing and scaling test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) for complex, large-scale applications.
• Deep practical knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of software architecture, data structures, and algorithms.
• Excellent ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and influence cross-functional technical teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in a domain-specific area (e.g., cloud infrastructure, machine learning, financial systems).
• Experience with advanced mocking/stubbing tools and service virtualization.
• Certifications in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
