What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and execution of comprehensive test plans and quality strategies with emphasis on automation.
• Build and maintain automation frameworks for products, providing mentorship through code and design reviews.
• Master hirify.global development process, codebase, and cloud requirements.
• Build end-to-end, cross-cloud impacting, integration automation (API and UI).
• Prioritize cross-product testing, advocate for customer improvements, and monitor quality health metrics.
• Collaborate with senior developers, PM, UX, and app developers to ensure feature quality and resolve production issues.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with software development engineer in test or quality engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Java programming languages, with hands-on experience in testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI) and basic SQL for database validation.
• Fluent with automation technologies such as JUnit, Jest, Selenium and Jenkins.
• Experience with developer tools like git, Maven and Eclipse IDE, and a solid understanding of REST principles.
• Proficient in writing functional automation (UI/API) with the ability to learn quickly and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills, able to convey technical information clearly and concisely, and a related technical degree required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Android, iOS or other mobile application development or testing.
• Hands-on experience in mobile testing frameworks and tools such as Appium, Espresso, UiAutomator, Compose UI Test.
