TL;DR

Active Directory Administrator: Maintaining and troubleshooting enterprise-level Active Directory services for a large user base with an accent on security configuration, account management, and system performance. Focus on resolving Tier III incidents, coordinating changes, and ensuring compliance with security guidelines.

Location: On-site in Quantico, VA. Requires Top Secret w/SSBI clearance.

What you will do

• Maintain the overall health of technologies associated with Active Directory and internal DNS.
• Resolve Active Directory tickets escalated from the service desk (Tier III level).
• Coordinate incident tickets between Tier II and III sections and other required sections.
• Provide documentation, guidance, and instruction to Tier II and service desks for handling Active Directory incidents.
• Monitor the system availability and performance of Active Directory and take corrective action.
• Provide analysis and remediation for DISA Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG) for all responsible technologies.

Requirements

• 7 years related experience.
• Active Top Secret w/SSBI clearance required.
• DoD 8580 IAT III (CASP+CE, CCNP Security, CISA, GCIH, GCED, or CISSP) certification required.
• Professional level certification (e.g., MCSA Windows Server 2019/2022, MCSE Core Infrastructure) required.
• Strong experience with Active Directory 2019/2022, including planning, deploying, and migration.
• Extensive knowledge of AD architecture (databases, logs, mail routing, protocol support).
• Experience with PowerShell commands needed to manage Active Directory features and troubleshoot.
