What you will do

• Receive, image, and process physical devices for investigation while maintaining chain of custody.
• Design, deploy, and maintain physical and virtualized infrastructure supporting forensic investigations.
• Administer secure VDI environments and architect/optimize AWS infrastructure using services like EC2, S3, SQS, and IAM.
• Establish proactive patch management, monitoring, and high-availability protocols, ensuring data protection compliance.
• Provide timely technical support for internal consultants on forensic imaging and troubleshooting.
• Participate in team discussions for system improvements and assist with planning future upgrades.

Requirements

• Cloud Infrastructure administration experience using AWS services (S3, EC2, SQS, IAM).
• VMware Experience with ESXI, VCenter, and Aria.
• Experience with enterprise-class server hardware and managing enterprise storage systems (NAS/SAN).
• Proficient with Windows and Linux system administration and Windows Active Directory Group Policy.
• Confident with implementing, managing, and troubleshooting network infrastructure.
• Experience working with infrastructure as code like Terraform and automated deployment/patching tools.
• Professional experience in at least one programming language, preferably Python.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity in Austin, TX, USA.

Nice to have

• Experience using forensic image collection tools (FTK Imager, PALADIN, Digital Collector).
• Knowledge of Chain of Custody principles for digital and physical evidence.
• Past exposure to NetApp storage systems.
