What you will do

• Utilize deep expertise in applied ML and advanced research techniques to identify emerging product needs and shape strategic direction.
• Translate business requirements into research-driven solutions, applying subject-matter knowledge to deliver measurable product and business impact.
• Design, run, and document end-to-end experiments, communicating insights and accelerating research-to-product delivery.
• Commit to responsible AI practices, influencing data collection, model development, and research processes with understanding of fairness, bias, and privacy.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and cross-org partners to operationalize research work and ensure models are production-ready at global scale.
• Continuously refine scientific and engineering rigor, contributing to frameworks, tooling, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related field with relevant experience.
• Proven experience owning the full lifecycle of production ML systems, from research through deployment.
• Strong Python and/or C++ skills and experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience conducting applied research under real-world constraints, including personalization, global linguistic diversity, privacy-preserving learning, and mobile-oriented contexts.
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills required.

Nice to have

• Experience creating publications (e.g., patents, libraries, peer-reviewed academic papers).
• Experience presenting at conferences or other industry events.
• Experience conducting research as part of an academic or industry research program.
