What you will do

  • Create 3D animation for games, including characters, environment, and props.
  • Create rig/skin for characters.
  • Develop technical guidelines for animation.
  • Collaborate with game designers, programmers, and other animators to refine character movement and interactions.
  • Implement and optimize animations directly into Unreal Engine 5.
  • Arrange strong and smooth teamwork with artists and project managers.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in gameplay animation or related fields.
  • Advanced proficiency in 3D animation software and game engines.
  • Experience with motion capture data, including editing and cleanup.
  • Strong understanding of camera animation, cinematic framing, and facial animation.
  • Ability to design animation systems in collaboration with gameplay team members.
  • Intermediate+ English level (written and spoken) for seamless collaboration and documentation.

Nice to have

  • Skinning and basic rigging skills.
  • Knowledge of facial animation and lip-syncing processes.
  • Familiarity with game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine, including a basic understanding of animation state machines.
  • Knowledge of Unreal Engine animation systems (Animation Blueprints, Control Rig, Sequencer, Metahumans).
