Senior Character Artist (GameDev): Sculpting and bringing bold character forms to life in-game, from concept to final effect, ensuring visual quality and technical performance with an accent on anatomy, silhouette, and visual impact. Focus on owning the full asset creation pipeline, contributing to workflow development in Unreal Engine, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Location: Hybrid or full-time in-office in Warsaw, Poland. Relocation to Poland is required.

What you will do

• Deliver projects from concept art to final game engine effect, ensuring visual quality and technical performance.
• Own the full asset creation pipeline including sculpting, retopology, UV layout, texturing, and shader setup.
• Work with the Concept Art department to expand on the project vision.
• Collaborate closely with Rigging, Animation, Quest, Writers, and Gameplay Teams.
• Actively contribute to the evolution of production pipelines and workflows, including customization systems in Unreal Engine.

Requirements

• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in games production, focused on character art.
• Expertise in sculpting, modeling, and simulating, with a solid understanding of anatomy, functionality, and aesthetic.
• Outstanding 3D modeling skills (low-poly, mid-poly, high-poly) and proficiency in UV mapping, baking, and texturing.
• High proficiency in Blender/Maya, Zbrush, MarvelousDesigner, and Substance Painter.
• Good background in traditional art skills, understanding fundamentals like proportion, scale, value, and color theory.
• Ability to learn new tools and pipelines quickly and effectively.

Nice to have

• Experience working on AAA titles.
• General understanding of Unreal Engine.
• Experience in rigging and skinning assets.
• Experience in mentoring fellow artists.
