Field CTO (Cybersecurity)

TL;DR

Field CTO (Cybersecurity): Leading strategic engagements and executive briefings for large enterprise organizations in the DACH region with an accent on cybersecurity transformation and platform integration. Focus on advising CIO/CISO-level stakeholders, driving complex solution architecture, and aligning product vision with market trends.

Location: Must be based in Germany (Frankfurt) with up to 50% travel across the DACH region.

What you will do

• Engage and build trusted relationships with CxOs to advocate for cybersecurity transformation.
• Lead and facilitate executive briefings and speak at major IT and security events.
• Serve as the technical lead for the largest and most complex platform opportunities in the DACH region.
• Provide customer insights to the CTO office, Product Management, and Marketing teams.
• Stay at the cutting edge of the threat landscape and TTPs of major threat actors.
• Develop and mentor EMEA SEs and leaders on Enterprise Solution Architecture.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of broad IT experience, including vendor, SI, or MSSP background.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a cybersecurity practitioner or Enterprise Architect.
• Fluent English and German language proficiency required.
• Strong executive presence with proven commercial acumen and presentation skills.
• Experience as a regular speaker at industry events with audiences of 100+ people.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT or cybersecurity.

Nice to have

• Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, SABSA, or CISSP.
• Proficiency in additional European languages.
